Ipad mini 2 won't start

Ipad mini 2 was low on battery so put it on charger. Next day it will not start up. Tried soft reset, hard reset, different cables and hooking up to Itunes. Nothing has worked. Wanted to see if anyone could help before I did a battery replacement
