Q: Keynote Split View

Hello everyone.

I"m thinking about buying an iPad Pro. Could anyone tell me how the iPad Pro or the Air 2 behave when you have split view activated and you stream via airplay to an external Monitor?

I am a teacher and i would like to have my keynote via airplay on the videoprojector and still be able to access my personal lesson notes on apple notes without the students being able to see them.

Is that possible with Splitview+Keynote+Airplay?

iPad, iOS 9.1

Just tried it. The whole iPad display is mirrored, not just one part of the split view.

However, there are plenty of reasons to find the iPad Pro useful for all sorts of things.  The display will make possible (and efficient) many things that before were hard to do.

Thank you for your answer. In the meantime, I've bought an iPad Pro and tried it myself. You're basically right - most of time the entire screen is simply mirrored. However, if you are in Keynote presentation mode, you only see the keynote on the external monitor, not the second app which in open in split screen mode. This is exactly the setup I had wanted, and this isn't even possible on the MacBook. This is such a great help for teaching. Being able to differ between student information and teacher information and still being able to draw and write into the student information is a game-changer for me!

Looking forward so badly to my next lessons!

Thanks for pointing out that Keynote can do that in presentation mode on the iPad Pro!
