I have no problem playing all my stored movies in iTunes on the previous Apple TV version. The new version refuses to play any movies saved as MPEG-4 video codec. Any movies with an H.264 video codec work just fine. I really don't want to take all the time to convert all of my MPEG-4 movies. Anyone got a suggestion.

Read this document. There is a paragraph called "Video Formats". It will tell you what files and formats ATV4 can play.
If your files don't match these requirements and if you don't want to convert your files for ATV4, then the easiest solution would be to revert back to your previous ATV.
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I read that page after I started having problems. I was hoping someone would have a sneaky way around the new and improved program on ATV4. Thanks for your help. I guess this will make me decide just how much I want to keep some of my videos.
