moved to a new iMac from old mac pro. have my drive with bootcamp on it running on an external drive. has been working fine. today, after installing a parallels update, windows fails to start. several attempts at startup repair have yielded nothing. i am running windows 7. is there a way to reinstall windows without destroying the programs i have there?
i have an external DVD reader.
