iTunes says there is not enough room to sync my iPhone, and yet it shows i have plenty of room?

I recently tried to sync with my iPhone, and iTunes say there isn't enough room on my iPhone to sync, and yet I have 8Gb free and only need 800k?

I deleted songs from the sync list, and was able to increase the available space to 11Gb. Any yet iTunes said there still wasn't enough room. I have included screen shot from iTunes to show what was happening. (FYI->This has also begun to happen on my girlfriends computer and two other people I have talked to).
