I am really disappointed that after the IOS 9.1 software update my battery is draining really fast even on idle state. I bought the phone only early this year. I have been a Apple fan but now I doubt I would want to be one any longer. I need a solution to this fast.

another tips from me base on experinced try charging it till 97% then hard restart it
by pressing homebutton + power at same time then turn it on again if the battery goes to 100%

Practically I have deactivated almost all the apps and still the battery is draining fast. This did not happen before IOS 9.1 software update. The battery was perfect. Even after I charge the phone to 100% and leave it idle without using and the next day battery has drained totally. Also the phone heats up a lot. This came about after I reset my phone setting due to the touch ID was not working. Even now the touch ID is not working as the finger print is not clickable. This happened also after the IOS 9.1 update.
I also tried what you have suggested above, but the battery still showed 97%, not 100%.
have u try manual restore ios.
download ios first for your iphone from ipsw.me
then restore it using itunes .
plug in your iphone
open itunes then shift + restore choose your ios you have downloaded
then restore it. set as new without putting back your data . see if everything going fine or not.
make sure icloud lock out .

what error message in itunes ? if fail restore usually there is error message in itunes ( like itunes error something .. something with number )

Have you had that screen replaced before by someone other than Apple?
If not, make a genius bar appointment and take it to Apple.
Nothing has been replaced. The only thing I tried doing is following his instructions to restore IOS 9.1. Now nothing is happening. I have no clue what to do.

Im explaining what error code 53 means. the phone detects an issue with the touch ID.
You have stated the touch ID wasnt working. You need to bring it in for service.
