my phone broke and i have no warranty will it cost me much

I had iPhone 5 and the screen shattered so the touch won't work.... It's been a long time since I bought it so the warranty has expired. Will it cost me much to get it replaced? Or to fix it?

Help omg all my contacts are there and I can't access them from iCloud.

Why can't you access them from iCloud?

Out of warranty replacement for an iPhone 5 is $269
