Trouble playing movies from iTunes

I have the 4th generation Apple TV and up until this weekend everything was working perfect. Now, no matter what I do, every time I try to play one of my purchased iTunes movies, I gets the dreaded "ready to play in x hours." Even trying to view previews through iTunes doesn't work. Netflix works, HBO Go works, Hulu works, but not iTunes.


I contracted Apple support and he said it was my internet speed that was causing the issue, but how is that possible when it was literally working perfect on Friday and nothing regarding my internet has changed.


Please help.
