Adding a Cover page to a pages 5 document

Greetings All,

I would like to add a cover page to a lengthy document. I can only find older posts. Has anyone tried to create cover page with no page numbers on it?

There must be hundreds of posts on this.

Click at the end of the 1st page > Menu > Insert > Section Break

Click in the 2nd page:

Sidebar > Section > Page Numbering > deselect Continue from previous section

Go back to the first page and delete the contents of the Header and Footer.

And Apple is the the author of the "simplified" software that needs countless lengthy explanations of such simple procedures. 😢
