I have an old macbook and made a reinstall. Now it seems like I need a serial number for my pages???

The retail version of the iWork '09 DVD does not request a serial number. You have an outdated trial version, for which no serial number is now obtainable because Apple discontinued iWork '09 two years ago. You can obtain a retail version of the iWork '09 DVD from Amazon, and then apply the Apple iWork 9.3 updater to arrive at Pages '09 v4.3 on OS X 10.7.5 or later.
