iPhone 6s Plus Bluetooth connectivity issues

Since I bought the iPhone 6s Plus (iOS 9.1), I've been having serious trouble with the Bluetooth connectivity. I had a iPhone 6 before and all was good, so can't be the fault of the car stereo (Honda CRV 2015). Basically, whenever I start playback on Spotify, it plays 2-3 songs and then just either looses connectivity and pauses the track or plays fragments of the song (within 10sec) and resumes for another 2-3 songs till it happens again. Thought maybe it's due to buffering, but then again I'm using LTE with strong singlas + playback from Youtube should have the same issues, but that playback is solid as a rock. Second guess was mail fetching, but the same issue remained after I disabled all e-mail accounts. I even tried WiFi to make the connection more stable, no positive results.

Anyone else with the same case?
