My iPad 2's iCloud has returned to its first Apple ID since I updated the IOS. It's now locked in to an ID whose password I don't know; all iCloud settings are greyed out.

My iPad 2's iCloud has returned to its first Apple ID since I updated the IOS. It's now locked in to an ID whose password I don't know; all iCloud settings are greyed out, and I keep getting alerts to agree to new terms & conditions, which I can't do. Find My iPad is on so I can't reset via iTunes.

iPad 2, iOS 9.1

You need to know this Apple ID and password. Otherwise, your iPad will be a useless brick.
