Upgrading to one 8gb ram slot and leaving a preexisting 2gb slot.
Is it ok to have 10gb that way? Will it have a negative impact on the performance instead of 2 x 4gb? I have a 2011 13" 2.30hz i5 MacBook Pro.
Grateful for any help.
