how to convert a scanned document that opens in Preview into a MS Word DOC

I scanned a signed contrat. I clicked on pdf option for format.

I found the pdf file in my documents file, clicked on it and it opened in Preview.

How do I convert it (the pdf file) to a MS Word DOC file for whom I now need to email it back to?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

Hello, you can try the Adobe Acrobat Pro, i convert PDF to word, the layout and content is absolutely similar with the original PDF, it also support the OCR function. Although the price is not cheap, but the function is worth paying. You can also search other alternative application o internet PDFConverterOCR, Free Scanned PDF to Word etc.
