I gave my Mom my iphone5. She lives in Bogota Colombia. She took it to an Apple Store in Colombia. They said the phone is locked. How can I unlock the phone so that she can purchase phone service in Colombia? I never reported phone lost or stolen.
I gave my Mom my iphone5. She lives in Bogota Colombia. She took it to an Apple Store in Bogota. They said the phone is locked. How can I unlock the phone so that she can use it in Colombia? I was using Verizon here in US. I called them and they told me that they have no alliance contract with any service in Colombia. Also I never reported phone or stolen. She will be using a Colombian wireless service. Thank you for your help.
