Does iTunes offer any movies with Dolby Atmos soundtracks yet?
Furthermore, the new Apple TV 4 seems to automatically decode Dolby Digital Plus bitstreams to PCM. This prevents a connected audio/video receiver (AVR) or pre-processor from receiving and decoding Dolby Atmos as the necessary Atmos information is lost in the conversion process to PCM.
Is there an option to enable DD+ passthrough on ATV 4?

Let's hope Apple will enable bitstream pass-through in a future tvOS software update.

Nothing to do with a bed, you are latching onto a year old conversation and you have no idea what took place.
Because of other posts this user had made at the time it was quite obvious they knew the answer to the question they were asking and rather than using the communities as a platform for help like they are intended, they were using them as a soapbox to express their dissatisfaction, which is not what the support community is for and is against it's terms of use.
