New MBP with El Capitan downgrade to Yosemite

I have just received a new MBP that comes pre-installed OS X El Capitan. I would like (for some good reasons) to downgrade the OS to Yosemite.

I have tried downloading Yosemite from the App Store. Downloaded ok, but when I try and run the installer app El Capitan says it is unable to install. Error message is 'The copy of the "Install OS X" application is too old to be opened by this version of OS X'

Can I and how can I replace the OS with Yosemite on this new MBP?

Thanks for your feedback.

1. Please see OS X versions and builds included with Mac computers - Apple Support .

2. You may be able to install Yosemite on an external disk - How to install OS X on an external drive connected to your Mac - Apple Support or find an older Mac, install Yosemite and try to boot from this disk. It may cause CPU Panics, if your CPU model is not supported.
