Itunes and Outlook 2010 suddenly stopped syncing

Nov 25, 2015 5:57 AM

Suddenly in the last 4 to 5 days, Itunes and Outlook 2010 have stopped syncing my Contacts and Calendar.

Itunes says "Microsoft Outlook must be installed in order to sync calendars".

This is a fascinating error response since my Office 2010 has been fully installed for a few years!

This happens on both my iPhone 4S and my iPad, both of which are at 9.1 for a couple of weeks now.

I am running Itunes version 12.3.1.23

I am running Outlook version 14.0.7159.5000 (32 bit)

I am running Windows 8 Pro (64 bit)

I have tried:

1) Repair of Office

2) Full re-install of iTunes using iTunes6464Setup.exe

3) Read numerous online articles with NO luck.

As I mentioned above, the Contact and Calendar syncing has been running successfully for a very long time until now.

For me, this is a CRITICAL issue.

Any help or known solution would be very appreciated.

Thanks
