Why does my MacBook not recognize SAFARI ?
I downloaded Apples new browser and SAFARI doesn't work !

Not sure what you downloaded or what OS X version that you're using (since you didn't provide that info) but the latest version of Safari is not available as a separate download, it's only available as part of the El Capitan installation.
