I would like to alternate and activate my new iPhone 6 and my old iPhone 5. Sometimes the iPhone 6 is too large to comfortably fit in my pocket. I think i should be able to synch my old iPhone with my backup on iCloud from my iPhone 6 and use the iPhone 5. Then go back through the same process to use my 6. I'm an at&t customer. do I also need to swap out a sim card or merely synch each time with iCloud backup?
I haven't tried it, but the AT&T salesman said I could just swap out my SIM card between my 5 and 6 to change which one is connected to the AT&T wireless network. As far as your data and apps, you would probably have to manually keep them synced, as the iCloud sync seems to be per device.
