Macbook Air battery?

I am unable to open open my Macbook Air.

I think I have kept the power chord plugged in for too long.

Is there a way of rebooting?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013), iOS 8.4.1

Please read If your Mac won't turn on - Apple Support

Read and follow all the applicable steps. For example, Step 6 does not apply to your MacBook Air.
