Error 53

Apple ought to be ashamed, but I think they're incapable of the emotion. (Sort of like with humility or sincerity.)

The place that repaired it did an incompetent job; it is possible to replace the screen without causing the Error 53; they clearly did not know what they were doing. You should insist that they replace the phone that they ruined through their incompetence.

What puzzles me is that Apple's charge for replacing just a screen is not that much money; it's around 100 Euro. So there must have been more wrong with it than just a screen.
