Mac pro can not restart while in Bootcamp

New Mac pro- El Capitan and Windows 10. When I'm in bootcamp/windows and need to restart or shutdown I can't. After selecting either shutdown or restart it cycles down, screen goes dark but nothing happens, I have to manually shut down and restart each time.
