WWhen I click to save a gif it only saves a single image. The full options of saving or copying aren't even there. It only sends and saves a single image with no animation.
HHere is the option I get.
When I save an animated gif to my iPhone's photos, it doesn't display as animated in the Photos app, but if I copy it to an email or a sms message, it does show the animation. These apps use the web rendering engine that supports animations, while Photos doesn't.
I found an app on the app store called GifBook that will let you browse and view your animated gifs stored in your photo library.
