Q: Why did Apple stop allowing more than 4 individual pictures per page for their phonebook creations?

I am super frustrated. I have made many phonebooks as gifts. Being able to put five or six or even more photos on one page has been helpful when those photos are not important, but necessary to the 'story'. I cannot find any templates anymore that allow that on one page. WHAT HAPPENED??? Need to know immediately, as I am going to go to another company if I can't solve this problem with Apple.

It will depend on the theme you are using for your book in Aperture. Some themes only support four photos per page, others up to 16 photos, for example the modern Lines Theme.

I AM using the Modern Lines theme!!  I searched all options, and I could only find the up to 4 pix per page, and the double page spread! But, if you are correct, then I will go look again for the ones after the double page spread and see if I can find 9up and 16 up. But they used to have (and I mean this year 'used to have') 7,8,9 etc up choices with different configs. I wish Apple would explain this new 'less than" series of page layout choices.  But thanks Léonie.
