My MacBook Freezes When I Try to Restore

Hello,

I seem to have trouble whilst resetting my MacBook Pro 13" (2010). I am selling it and I have tried to reset it and it freezes on the last portion when updating to El Capitan at '31 minutes to go'. Hopefully this is enough information for you all to go off of as I the buyer wants his computer! Thanks in advance.
