Q: Photos

How can I make sure the labels that I created for each photo get printed out when I "Create Book"?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

not sure what you are calling labels or where you expect them to print but if you preview the book according to this method you will see exactly what is going to be printed - Preview a print project in Photos, iPhoto, or Aperture to avoid issues - Apple Support

Thanks Larry. I think this may have worked with iPhotos, but this feature has been removed from the new "Photos" version. I spoke with Apple support yesterday by phone and they weren't able to solve my issue. So what I'd like to be able to do is when I publish then order a print version of my album in book format, I want the labels that I created for each photo (painstakingly), to print out with them. This is not possible now. The only way it seems it can be done is if you go through AFTER creating the book and putting captions or labels on each photo AGAIN.

So to solve this, what I decided to do was to screenshot thumbnails of the photos with their captions and I will put them on separate pages at the back of the printed book for reference.

    That is unfortunately true.

send feedback to Apple with a feature request. Apple - Photos - Feedback
