What do I do if my iPhone screen goes black, I can still hear sounds but I cannot see anything.

My iPhone 5c was charging last night when the screen went black and I cannot turn it on, or off.

When I plug it in, it continually makes noise like it's trying to charge.

I have tried taking the sim card out, holding down the Home and Power button, and I'e plugged it into my computer and a wall charger. Nothing is working. What is wrong with my phone?
