Turn off iOS9 Calendar?

Turn off iOS9 Calendar?

I don't like how Calendar opens inadvertently when I right swipe - can I turn Calendar off? Or at least stop it from opening all the time when I don't want it?

iPad Air, iOS 9.1

Right swipe ? Do you means starting your swipe from the right side of the screen ?

If yes you're using Slide over. To turn it off see the quote below from the iPad User Guide.

“Turn Slide Over off. Go to Settings > General > Multitasking, then turn off Allow Multiple Apps.”

Thanks. This was mainly an issue with Calendar. I don't use it, and it was the only thing that would open with this gesture, not any of the other apps that were open and that I use. But I made the change and now at least the Calendar isn't openiing Itself.

You're welcome. If you don't want Slide over to open try not beginning the swipe close to the edge of the screen. To see other apps see photo below.
