Itunes ratings

Hello,


I make a playlist of songs and copt to my iphone for review. After giving each song a star rating on my phone I have plugged the phone into my itunes and hope to delete songs with 1 star. Hoevever the Itunes is not recognising the star ratings on my phone ?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
