After upgrading from Yosemite to El Capitan (v10.11.1), I can no longer share a URL via email from Safari. When the option is selected, Safari attempts to launch Mail, but a new email message window is never created. I've tried many suggestions made by others in various discussions, but nothing has helped. So far, I tried the following:
- I verified that Mail is my default email application
- I tried resetting my user account's UUID
- I tried creating a new user account, and the problem persists
- I tried following the suggestions in the link without any luck: If Share options or Markup is missing after upgrading to OS X Yosemite or El Capitan - Apple Support
- I tried running in Safe Mode, again without any change
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Thanks.
