Unable to delete files from iPhone 5 in iTunes

Hello,

I have just switched to a new laptop and installed iTunes. I am now syncing my iPhone 5 with the new laptop. The problem is that I am unable to add or delete podcasts and songs from my iPhone via iTunes. I used to have no problem doing this. Is there a setting I'm not dealing with? Do I need to authorize my iPhone on my new laptop somehow?

You need to sync your new laptops computer with your iPhone 5. That means you have to click on Sync Music, and erase all of the contents of your iTunes library on your iPhone and replace it with music on your new laptop.
