is there a way to connect the Apple TV 4th Generation to a home theater system

I want to know if there is a way to connect an Apple TV 4th Generation to a home theater system? If so what cords do I need to connect them?

That would depend entirely on the Home Theater system. Since the Apple Tv 4 only has an HDMI output, if the home theater does not have an HDMI input, you would need whatever adapter / cable your Home theater has input for.

Tell us what Home theater system you have or what inputs it has and we may be able to provide a more specific answer.

Going by the specs on Samsung's own website:

It does not appear you can connect an Apple TV 4 directly.

You could connect it through the Optical input for Audio only using one of these:

You would need a couple of HDMI cables, and an optical spdif cable for the audio.

Optical SPDIF Audio cable

Alternatively if your TV has an optical audio output, you can use that instead to get the Audio out to the home theater through its optical audio input.
