downloading FinalCutPro trial from apple.com not working?

Whenever i download the FinalCutPro trial from apple, i try and open it and i get a message saying, "The following disk images couldn't be opened" then under it, it shows Image: FinalCutProTrial - Reason: Image not recognized. how do i fix this so i can successfully download it?
