Is it possible to have a different name in your Apple ID than the one in your registered credit card?

I don't use my personal credit card for purchases on apple store, so my name doesn't appear in the apple ID, it shows the name registered in the credit card. I tried to change this, but every time I do, the credit card stops working because its name changes too. Is it possible to keep these two thing separate?
