No matter what I do iPhone 6 says no service

I have done everything recommended to try to get my phone to stop saying "No Service"

I have been having this problem for months, but thought i had finally fixed it after getting a new sim card. But it is happening again. It is not a location issue because my phone does not have service anywhere I go. I can only use my phone while connected to WiFi. Any idea what could be causing this?

Sounds like a problem with a SIM card slot. Have you visited the Genius Bar?

Also, you can try these steps:

Try to reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on this device.

  • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
  • Press and hold on the Home button
  • Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

If this does not help, restore your device to factory settings. Note that this will erase the data from your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: Use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.
