Genius mixes wont play in ipod

Hi there folks! I'd just found my 'ye old iPod touch 2G and I loaded some music in it. And since this iPod can play and create a Genius playlist on its own, but apparently, it does this (screen capture below). And I did reset the iPod (lose all the apps installed 😢) and nothing happened. Any ideas for me to fix this? Any help will be appreciated alot. Btw, Genius works just fine in iTunes.
