Copying Ipad Images (Apple Config 2)

Hi,

I did a search for "copying ipad image" but the advice relates to Apple Configurator 1, I'm currently using AC2

I work in a school and want to update 60 ipads with

the same apps in the same place

the same cached information (Dropbox username and password, individual downloadable add-ons to apps, in-app settings etc)

Previously I'd used AC1, although massively clunky and ultimately rubbish, I did manage do what I wanted by creating a master Tablet setup how I wanted, connecting to AC1, "backing up" that Tablet and then after plugging in the other tablets, "restoring" the other devices using the master back-up

But now, I can create a backup, but when I restore another device using that backup, none of the apps copy over, therefore none of the settings or additional content.

Can anyone advise if this is possible?
