I had to restore it through iTunes because it was no longer booting. Is there a way to find out what email is linked to it?

I tried those obviously. She doesn't know what email. She used on it. Look all I need is the email she last used on the device I'm not asking you people to unlock it I just want the email to help my niece remember and if she can't there's a section for password recovery. Easy.
If she still can't remember or find her id, and if you/she were the original purchaser of the iPad (i.e. it wasn't bought used), then you could try going to an Apple Store (make a Genius Bar appointment if you do) or try contacting iTunes Support online (http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww) and see if they can remove the iPad from the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership before they might help e.g. original receipt with the serial number on it
So my niece forgot her apple id. We had to restore it because of an incomplete update. Any help please.
