My Apple Macbook Pro is registering an error code 4SNS/1/40000001 : VPOR - 0.000, I cannot find an explanation for this code. The error code appears after running diagnostics. The Macbook is working fine at the moment but had an issue of not switching on after pushing the "on" button. The Macbook is mid 2012
13 inch with 2.5 Ghz Intel Core i5 and 4 Gig Ram.

4SNS is a Sensor Error.
The only available listing shows VP0R as a Voltage Sensing error. (these can happen when the Voltage is not correct, and also if the sensor fails or its wire is disconnected).
So, what do I need to do? Don't really trust leaving my computer with people I don't know overnight. I don't care if it's at the apple store.
If it fails the diagnostic in 20 minutes, they don't need to run it overnight to get more data -- the problem is obvious.
If you have a Trusted Backup, (Or better yet TWO Backups made with different methods) you can erase the Hard drive and just re-Install Mac OS X on it before handing it over to them.
Have you had issues with battery charging, battery runtime, or the computer seeming to lose power? The capital "P" in "VP" indicate a sensor on the power bus so any problem related to power could be supporting evidence for the technicians.
