problems with sound useing bootcamp

Hi im useing windows on my mac via bootcamp.

I have installed windows 10 and im trying to use a microphone. But my computer just says no sound hardware.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

If you have a single jack which has both headphones and microphone, such devices (called TRRS) have a chequered past on Windows. Does this device work properly on the OS X side?
