How do I move pictures from flash drive to iPad Air 2

You can't move pictures from a flashdrive to an iPad without a computer. iPads don't have a USB port for the flashdrive. For instructions on using iTunes see this support article Sync photos from your computer to your iOS device using iTunes - Apple Support.

Edit: it appears some flash drives may work, but may not work everytime.

You can move photos from sd card to iphone / iPad

You need an sd card reader with a lightning port connection

When you plug in it may say not supported

But mine works .

Have a look on Amazon only cost a few pounds.
