How to sync with Windows 10??

Ever since the windows 10 update I have been unable to sync my iPod (4th generation iPod touch). But my other iPod (3rd generation iPod Nano) syncs with no problem!! I've been dealing with hellish nightmare for over a month and I just cant take it anymore!!!!😠 Every time I try to sync my iPod touch that annoying phone companion thing pops up and I don't know that to do to get my iPods to sync again with no problem like they were before windows 10. If anyone had this problem and had it fixed I greatly appreciate the help!
