Unable to change tracks or shuffle music. iOS 9.1

So. I don't know when this happened (maybe update from 9 to 9.1, but I'm unable to change tracks on the music app, including shuffling. I can manually change a track by tapping on the track I want to play in the list of music, but tapping the >> button on the lock screen just causes the song to start over. Additionally, the song just continues to repeat, it will not move on to the next song. Same when tapping on the shuffle button. It plays a random song from list, but will only repeat that song and not move on to another random song. Please help.
