New Apple TV; My Siri Remotes keeps Glitching!

It disconnects then reconnects every few seconds.....but still works when it disconnects! Also, its not responsive. It has about a two second lag time on swiping or pressing buttons before the Apple TV actually does something. I have done all resets and the remote is charged! This seems to be a software issue.
