Hey,
I was going through the steps of installing windows 10 on my mac through Bootcamp, and i started to wonder that if it would work if i was to take the harddrive out of my Window 7 pc and connect to it the Mac ( externally). <-- by this i mean is there a way to dualboot windows 7 ( not as a fresh install ) bur rather just run the windows 7 saved to the harddrive.

There are too many issues in moving hard drives from PC to Mac or the other way. It requires a lot of work to make it work properly and requires prerequisites on both sides. It is much simpler to install a fresh copy of W7 on the Mac?

Please make sure you have good backups for OS X and Windows. Create a Windows System Restore point.
