My Phone will not back up to new PC

My Phone will connect and I can see everything, but it at the automatically back up * This Computer it states this Iphone has never been backed up to this computer before, and when I press Back up Now it briefly show a Sync in the Apple logo bar but doesn't then do anything. Everything works but it will not back up?
