Having problems with my apple id .

Hello !

I'm Tabsir from Bangladesh.I had opened my apple id in 2013 but it didn't require any credit card number then as i opened my apple id directly from an Apple Store in New York. *(I visited New York in 2013). But for the last couple of weeks i've been facing a problem in downloading apps from the app store .Whenever I try to download a free app from the app store it wants a verification and asks for a credit card number for billing purposes.But as i'm a student now,I don't have any credit cards yet .So what can i do to solve this issue ?

I badly need your help.It would be really helpful.. 🙂

Is this the first time that you've tried to download anything ? If it is then unless the instructions on this page are used when creating an account : Create an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account without a credit card or other payment method - Apple Support

then payment details will need to be entered before the account can be used.

If you have been downloading things then the country that you have on your account is Bangladesh, you aren't trying to use a different country's store (which the store's terms don't allow), or have you changed countries ?
