Exporting iPhoto library from an iBookG4 to a MacBook

Hello from Geneva, Switzerland!

How can I export my photos from iPhoto on an iBook G4 to a MacBook Pro, preferably without a cable, which I don't have?

Cheers!

(And thank you!)

iBook G4 (14-inch Early 2004), Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Set up a wireless network, turn on File Sharing, and drag-copy the entire library over.

What do you have? An external drive you could plug in? Or a thumbs drive?

Do you have iPhoto on your MacBook Pro, so you could copy the iPhoto Library over, or do you just want to transfer the photos?

If you have an external drive, copy the iphoto Library to that drive, then open it in iPhoto on your MacBook Pro.

Depending on the iPhoto version on your G4 you may need first to run the iPhoto Library Upgrader: see: iPhoto '11: About the Library Upgrader
