Printing emails with jpeg & PDF attachments
I receive a large number of emails each day, many with JPEG images included as attachments. I often need to print these emails to discuss with others.
Issue #1:
Since installing El Capitan, the mail message hides or misses some of the JPEG attachments, so they don't display in the printed version. Sometimes it displays some of the images, and sometimes it displays only a small portion of the first image. It almost always seems to show the slider in the side-bar on the printed version, as if Mail is taking a 'screenshot' of the email itself but misses the end of the message.
Issue #2:
This has occurred long before El Capitan, but is annoying and hasn't been fixed with any update so far.
When printing an email with multiple JPEG images, the pictures split across two pages, rather than there being a 'page-break' in between the individual pictures. This makes it very difficult for anybody being asked to look at the pictures on the printed pages, as it splits the picture over two pages. Is there any known solution for this?
Issue #3:
This issue has also been happening well before El Capitan. It is relating to printing emails with PDF documents attached. Often, these PDS's are displayed inline in the email (especially for one-page documents) but it doesn't show the entire page when printed. Is there any way that I can have the attachment show as an icon, not display inline? That way, the PDF only prints out if I choose to, by opening the attachment.
This is a work computer, so these issues are all fairly annoying and add a bunch of time to each of these tasks. Often, I have to save all of the attachments from the email and print them from Preview, and then copy the text of the email into a Word document and print that out, just so that I can present a professional looking email. Not great!
Hopefully someone can help with an answer.
Thanks in advance.
